Messi Viewing Party Draws 104,000 Fans to Klyde Warren Park

Klyde Warren Park filled to capacity on Saturday as 104,000 spectators gathered for a free screening of Lionel Messi. The event drew a dense crowd across the 25-acre grassland space in the middle of downtown Dallas. Fans set up lawn chairs and large screens to watch the match live.

The gathering marked one of the largest single-day turnouts for a public sports viewing in the city’s history. Organizers opened the gates at 10 a.m. and the area remained packed until the final whistle. Security managed traffic flow on surrounding streets to handle the volume of attendees.

Local food vendors and beer trucks lined the park’s perimeter, serving thousands of meals during the event. Many attendees arrived hours before kickoff to claim a spot near the main projection screen. The atmosphere remained lively throughout the match, with cheers rising after each goal.

This event follows a series of high-profile viewing parties held in the park over the past year. City officials cited the crowd size as a positive indicator for future large-scale public events in the area. No major incidents were reported during the gathering.

The next major public screening at Klyde Warren Park is scheduled for next month. Organizers plan to expand food vendor options and add more seating areas based on feedback from this event. The city expects another large turnout for the upcoming match.
