Artist presales for the first Moonline shows begin on Thursday, October 29, with public sales starting the following day at 10 a.m. The 1,500-capacity venue is located in the current home of Emo's, a club that is relocating back downtown to the site where it opened more than 30 years ago. AEG Presents, the company operating the space, announced the initial calendar one week after revealing the inaugural lineup for the nearby United Heritage Hall.

The 2027 schedule spans 11 dates, beginning with a Talking Heads tribute act on February 13 and running through May 26. The roster includes Los Angeles alternative rock band Bad Suns, pop singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler, and British progressive metal group Haken. Later dates feature Chicago indie rock band Beach Bunny, metalcore band Currents, and New Jersey emo veterans Saves the Day. The calendar closes with indie rock artist Blondshell on May 26.

AEG Presents Southwest Region VP Robin Phillips said the programming reflects the room's intended versatility. "This first run of shows is exactly what we wanted Moonline to be: a room where a hardcore show, a pop show and a Houston rap show all feel at home in the same month," Phillips said. The company noted that Austin has historically supported diverse musical styles, and the team built the calendar to mirror that range.

The venue will undergo upgrades to its sound system, green rooms, backstage areas, and guest amenities before opening in 2027. It operates as a separate business from United Heritage Hall, a 4,000-capacity new build that anchors a mixed-use development under construction. The two venues are a mile apart, and while both are owned by AEG, they function independently. United Heritage Hall is expected to host larger, mainstream acts, while Moonline focuses on alternative talent.

Both venues will book up-and-coming artists alongside established names. Compared to downtown Austin clubs that primarily feature local acts, the AEG locations are designed for touring artists with national audiences. Most Moonline tickets go on general sale on October 30 via moonlineaustin.com. Beach Bunny tickets will have a separate presale on November 12, with public sales following on November 13.
