Twelve female basketball players are expected to make immediate impacts with their new teams after entering the transfer portal.

The portal saw nearly 1,600 players enter this cycle, with Stanford, Iowa State, and Tennessee losing the majority of their rosters. Those losses provided key additions for programs across the country. The following players are projected to contribute significantly to their new squads.

Audi Crooks moved from Iowa State to Oklahoma State. The 6-foot-3 senior center was the No. 2 scorer in Iowa State history. She averaged 25.8 points per game last season for the Cyclones. Crooks will add interior scoring for the Cowgirls, a team that also acquired other star players during the portal period.

Addy Brown transferred to UCLA from Iowa State. The 6-2 senior forward averaged 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists last season. She missed 11 games due to injuries. UCLA, the defending national champion, must replace its top six players from last year's roster. Coach Cori Close will rely on Brown as a key addition.

Talaysia Cooper joined Ole Miss after leaving Tennessee. The 6-0 senior guard averaged 16.6 points for the Lady Vols last season. She shot 34.3% from the 3-point line. Her length is expected to benefit Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin's team.

Madison St. Rose is a 5-10 graduate guard at Notre Dame. She left Princeton because Ivy League universities do not allow graduate years, and she had exhausted her eligibility there. St. Rose will provide veteran leadership and serve as a backcourt partner to star Hannah Hidalgo.

Jordan Lee, a 6-0 junior guard, transferred from Texas to South Carolina. She was the Longhorns' No. 2 leading scorer. Lee averaged 13.2 points last season and is noted as a perimeter defender. She joins a deep South Carolina roster.

Aaliyah Crump moved from Texas to Duke. The 6-1 sophomore forward averaged 7.9 points last season for the Longhorns. She played in 24 games due to injury. Crump shot 32% from the 3-point arc and may provide an additional offensive threat for Coach Kara Lawson's squad.

Nunu Agara joined Maryland from Stanford. The 6-2 senior forward averaged 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds over her three seasons at Stanford. Last year, she recorded 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds. Her experience will support a young Maryland team.

Liv McGill transferred from Florida to Oklahoma State. The 5-9 junior guard averaged 22.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.1 rebounds last season. She was the primary option for the Gators. With Audi Crooks now on the roster, McGill may share the scoring load.

Dani Carnegie is a 5-9 junior guard at Iowa. This is her second transfer. She averaged 17.8 points last year for Georgia and 12.9 points as a freshman at Georgia Tech. Carnegie is expected to provide scoring for the Hawkeyes.

Jada Williams joined LSU as a 5-8 senior guard. She is on her third team, having played at Arizona and Iowa State. Williams averaged 15.3 points and 7.7 assists for Iowa State last season. She is considered one of the top point guards in the country. Donovyn Hunter, a 6-0 senior guard, also joined UCLA. She is on her third team, having played at Oregon State and TCU. Hunter reached the Elite Eight at Oregon State as a freshman and helped TCU reach the same round the past two years. She averaged 10.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and shot 33.7% from 3-point range last season. Kate Koval, a 6-5 junior center, is at Baylor. She entered the portal in August after receiving an NCAA waiver to leave LSU. Koval is on her third school in three seasons, starting at Notre Dame. She averaged 8.3 points and 6.3 rebounds last season and will provide interior presence for Baylor.
